Since 1965, Leepoxy has custom formulated epoxies and urethanes that have met the most stringent requirements for sophisticated high-tech applications. While several of its formulations have evolved into “standard” products for niche applications, its main business has always been modifying existing products or creating new ones to meet the unique needs of each individual customer.

Leepoxy has been a pioneer and prominent proprietary formulator of boron trifluoride and boron trichloride-amine complexes. This high-performance series of BF₃ and BCl₃ curatives contains eight primary products that cover the broadest range of reactivities available. Judicious blending of the BF₃ catalysts, specifically, can yield intermediate reactivities tailor-made for any bonding, casting, molding, or winding process. The most latent blends can even yield B-stageable compounds useful for films, tapes, and other advanced composites. Leepoxy’s BF₃ products are liquid for easy processing. All have excellent physical and electrical properties; their chemical resistance and Tgs are outstanding.

Leepoxy’s BCl₃ catalyst provides superior latency for one-component heat-cured epoxies. It is an exceptionally latent and efficient accelerator for anhydride systems.
